ePortfolio Setup
Once you've finished setting up your ePortfolio, be sure to share it with your instructor or course.

Course Specific Information for MSES 690

Students taking MSES 690 are required to build a portfolio of reflections that demonstrate their knowledge of MSES Program Outcomes. Follow the steps provided to build your ePortfolio in the correct format.

Note: Prior to building your ePortfolio, familiarize yourself with the Manage ePortfolio page of this guide. It includes step-by-step instructions for all the features of Canvas ePortfolio that you'll use for your MSES ePortfolio.

Step 1: Setup Sections in ePortfolio

Each section in your ePortfolio will represent a program outcome reflection.

You need to setup your sections with the following naming conventions. Use the sample image as a guide.

  • Home
  • Program Outcome #1 Reflection
  • Program Outcome #2 Reflection
  • Program Outcome #3 Reflection
  • Program Outcome #4 Reflection
  • Program Outcome #5 Reflection
  • Program Outcome #6 Reflection
  • Overall Program Outcome Reflection

Step 2: Create Pages in the Sections

Each section in your ePortfolio will have a page titled YOUR NAME's Reflection PO #. You'll need to create a page in each section prior to adding content to the pages. See an example below.

Step 3: Add Artifacts & Content Blocks to the Pages

Each page should have the following content blocks:

  1. Rich Text Content: In this block, state the corresponding Program Outcome. Be sure to include a describe of the page's purpose.
  2. Image/File Upload: Use this block to upload your Reflection of My Learning Associated with MSES Program Outcome document. Details about the content required for your reflection are located in your course.
  3. Course Submission: Use this block to add artifacts from past courses that align with your reflection of the program outcome.

Use the example below to help you structure the page; it displays the page during editing so all content blocks are visible.
