Yellowdig Training Opportunities

There are several training opportunities provided by Yellowdig Learn that are meant to help you better support your community and facilitate student-centered learning.

  • Instructor Certification: The Instructor Certification Course is a short, one hour course that teaches faculty how to use Yellowdig effectively to increase class engagement and learning outcomes. After taking the course, 97% of instructors rate it as very helpful or fairly helpful. We highly recommend that all instructors go through the course to ensure they are using Yellowdig to it’s full potential.
  • STEM Community-Building Course: The STEM Community-Building Course provides a specialized guide for Yellowdig instructors in science, mathematics, and computer science programs.
  • Data Analytics and Efficacy Course: The Data Analytics and Efficacy Course provides a methodical guide to Yellowdig's suite of data analytics tools, along with efficacy studies from university partners. This information empowers instructors to identify isolated students, assess community health, and achieve strong educational results.

Additionally, Yellowdig has a Teaching & Learning Library with access to case studies, eBooks, blog posts, guides, etc. You can visit the Yellowdig Events for information regarding upcoming webinars and events, or to view recordings of past events.

Yellowdig Case Studies


Yellowdig has worked with several universities to explore the effectiveness of the platform. These universities used Yellowdig to explore solutions for a very common struggle among online universities: how does an online university meaningfully drive engagement and retention?

Additionally, many of the case studies include instructor experience using Yellowdig in the classroom. As the instructor, you are encouraged to review the case studies by other faculty who share the ways they utilize Yellowdig, student responses, changes in processes and mindset, etc.
