Getting Started with SIMNET

The purpose of this page is to help you get started with SIMNET for the first time.

Note: When using the directions below, students will receive a 7-day free trial of SIMNET before purchase is necessary.

SIMNET is only supported by Google Chrome. Please refer to the Worldwide Computer Requirements' Software page to download the latest version of Google Chrome.

Step 1

Sign Up

Navigate to the SIMNET Sign Up Page. Ensure you are using Google Chrome, as it is the only browser that will connect to SIMNET.

Using this link gives access to a one-week free trial of SIMNET.

Step 2

Enter Information

Fill out the required fields of the form. If the form gives the option to input an invite code, please use the link given in Step 1. Review and accept the Terms of Service and data agreement. Complete the reCAPTCHA and select Sign Up.

Note: Ensure you use your official ERAU email address when signing up.

Step 3

Purchase License

Simnet login page

You will need to purchase a SIMNET license through the ERAU Worldwide Bookstore. You will receive an email with your activation code.

Navigate to the Manage Account section. Enter your information and select Login.

How to Apply Your SIMNET Access Code

You have successfully created your SIMNET account. To apply your purchased access code, follow the instructions below:

Step 1

Navigate to Account Page

SIMNET Account Management Page

Go to your Account Management page.

Step 2

Enter Code

SIMNET Account Management Page invite code

Enter your invite code and select Apply.

Step 3

Purchase License

SIMNET invite code applied screen

After a few seconds, this message should appear:

"The invite code has been applied to your account"
