Getting Started

Before using SAS Viya, students and faculty will need to create an SAS profile with their Embry-Riddle email address. Use the following directions to get started. Using a SAS profile with a non-ERAU email address will prevent you from gaining institutional access to the tool.

Step 1

Visit Website

Navigate to the SAS Viya for Learners website.

Step 2

Select Create Profile

Select the icon on the top right of the page and select Create Profile in the menu that appears.

Step 3

Profile Setup

Enter the following information:

Preferred language
First name
Last name
Email: This MUST be your ERAU email address. Failure to use your ERAU email address will prevent you from gaining institutional access to the tool.
Country/Region: Additional options will generate once you've selected the dropdown menu button.
Affiliation with SAS: Select either student or professor. Another question will appear asking your SAS skill level; answer accordingly.
Company/Organization: You will search and select Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, Inc.

Step 4

Create Profile

At the bottom of the profile setup, select the checkbox next to I agree to the terms of use and conditions. Select Create profile.

Step 5

Email Confirmation

You will receive an email asking you to confirm your email address. Select the URL to confirm your profile has been set up. This includes creating a password for your SAS profile.
