Getting Started

Students must have an SAS profile that is registered with ERAU access to SASĀ® on Demand for Analytics. Setting up a profile is only necessary if you have never used SAS at ERAU before. Follow the steps below to get started.

Step 1

Navigate to the SAS Profile Creation page.

Step 2

Enter your details in the text boxes. Be sure you follow these guidelines:

  • Use your @my.erau.edu email address. Do not use an email address from another university.
  • For Affiliation with SAS, select Student.
  • Most students should select Novice for SAS Expertise Level. Select other options only if you have used SAS before outside of ERAU.
  • In the Company/Organization textbook, type Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.

Step 3

Agree to the terms of service, then select Create Profile.

Step 4

You'll receive an email asking you to confirm your email address. Open the URL in the email. You'll be taken to a webpage confirming your profile is set up.

Step 5

Navigate to the SAS OnDemand for Academics Sign In page. Click Sign In at the top right and enter your username and password.

Step 6

You'll be prompted to register your SAS profile for SASĀ® on Demand for Analytics. Select the appropriate home region.

Note: Be sure to select the correct region because it cannot be changed later; this affects your access to the SAS servers.

Step 7

Your request for registration will be sent to SAS for approval. This approval can take up to 48 business hours for SAS to complete. Check your email frequently for your approval email.

Step 8

Once your registration is approved, navigate to the SAS Sign In page. You'll be brought to your dashboard; every time you login after this, you'll be able to access your SAS dashboard to create and manage courses, as well as access SAS applications.
