How can Parchment Digital Badges enhance teaching and learning?

  • By helping learners translate their learning outcomes into validated skills and achievements.
  • By motivating students with achievements that are easy to recognize and share.
  • By allowing instructors to recognize, validate, track, and share students' learning achievements.

How do I earn badges?

  • You will automatically earn Parchment Digital Badges upon successful completion of a course or assignment that is configured to award a badge.
  • For example, Parchment Digital Badges will be used to award students badges upon course completion of readiness or training courses such as the 'Online Readiness Course.'
  • Some courses have 'Learning Pathways' and upon completion of a Pathway, a completion badge is also awarded.
