Maintenance Simulation

Program logo

The College of Aviation at ERAU-Worldwide has created a virtual environment to help develop students' understanding of aircraft maintenance. The simulation contains three components:

  • 100 Hour Inspection: Conduct an inspection of an aircraft and answer questions that mirror inspection questions on the FAA General Mechanics Exam.
  • Basic Flightline Operations: Explore the standard practices for flightline ground operations, including refuel procedures, safety requirements, aircraft towing, tower communication, etc.
  • Airframe Familiarization: Explore the types of loads and structure required to support them during aircraft design.
