Getting Started

You can purchase access to the JBL eBook as well as the Lab Environments using one of two methods:

Worldwide Bookstore: When purchasing from the bookstore, you will need to make sure you are logged in with your ERAU email address and you'll need your electronic receipt from the bookstore.
Through Canvas: When you first access the JBL links in Canvas, you can purchase the materials.

When purchasing from either source, you'll receive both the eBook and access to the Lab Environment for a bundled price.

Temporary Access to the Lab Environment & Digital Textbook

There is a 12-day Temporary Access available during the first two weeks of the term.

Important Note: Allowing the temporary access to expire before making the purchase could cause issues with your access. This is particularly problematic for students outside the US. To avoid any issues, purchase full access before the trial ends.

Purchasing or Redeeming Access in Canvas

The JBL textbook and lab required is a custom ERAU package. Access to the JBL ISSA Series eBooks and Lab Environments must be purchased either through the Worldwide Bookstore or your Canvas course. Purchasing the product through third-party vendors will not give correct access.

Step 1

Access Modules

Access the course modules by selecting the Modules button on the course navigation bar.

Step 2

Select Cloud Desktop

Select Cloud Desktop under Course Specific Information. The Title of Cloud Desktop will vary by course.

Step 3

Choose Purchase Option

Enter your Access Code which should be recieved from your Instructor/Course Information. Select Submit.

Step 4

Once you've entered your purchase information, you should automatically have access to the JBL eBook and Lab Environment.
Note: If you are using an email address other than your ERAU email as your default in Canvas, it may prevent you from getting access. Please change your default email in Canvas to your ERAU email and try again.
