Using Multirotor

This page covers how to use the Multirotor module.

Step 1

Login

When opening the ERUPT software, you will be greeted by a Embry-Riddle Copyright screen. Select Continue.

Step 2

You will be prompted to Login with your first and last name.

After logging in, you can access the Vehicle Performance Parameters by selecting it from the menu. Here, you can test and customize the flight controls.

Step 3

Opening The File

In the control input training, you can adjust the different rotation speeds of the drone, as well as refine the input being received from your controller.

Controller Layout

The following controller layout uses a Logitech controller, but the arrangement is the same for all supported controllers:

  • Left Stick: Vertical & Yaw
  • Left Bumper: Swap Operator/Sensor View
  • Left Trigger: Rotate Camera Up
  • Right Stick: Pitch & Roll
  • Right Bumper: Static Screen Capture
  • Right Trigger: Rotate Camera Down
  • X: Start Timer
  • Y: Controller Menu
  • B: Return to Starting Position
  • A: NADIR

Basic Flight Training

Basic Flight Training provides a road track for the pilot to follow overhead using the drone. It may be helpful to explore different camera angles when performing this training.

Basic Flight Maneuvers provides a small cone setup to practice maneuvering the drone.

Adv Flight Maneuvers
