Link Assignments

Group assignments that have GRP in the assignment title will need to be assigned to a group set by the instructor after all group sets and groups have been created.

Step 1

Open GRP Assigment

Open the Assignment and select Edit

Step 2

Group Assignment Settings

Group assignment settings page with 'this is a group assignment' checkbox checked and highlighted and a textbox stating to be sure it is enabled, Assign grades to each student individually is highlighted yellow, and left unchecked. With textbox stating this setting is optional and to check the IFI area of your course

Verify the following:

  1. This is a Group Assignment setting is enabled. If not, put a check in the box next to this setting
  2. If you are supposed to manually enter different grades for each student (following peer reviews, etc.) , then put a check in the box next to Assign Grades to Each Student Individually. If you would like the same grade assigned to all students in the group, DO NOT check this box

Step 3

Select Assigment to Link

Choose the Group Set to which you would like to link the assignment.

Then select Save.

Note

Group Submissions

If one student will submit for the entire group, the first student to submit the file will see a message like above.
